be remarkable (presentations)
A great presentation doesn’t just inform, it ignites! Well, I believe it should. Judging by what I see 99% of the time, I'm not sure everyone is exactly on the same page! You’re not there to download data (we don't generally get excited by "stuff") you’re there to spark something that moves people. If they leave nodding but not doing, you’ve missed the moment. The goal isn’t applause, it’s action. So, start with the end in mind. How do you want people to respond to what you're delivering? What do you want people to say about it...do that and you'll see a marked difference in what happens next!
be remarkable (meetings)
Too many meetings are just well-catered pauses in progress. Something that fills the days and keeps us all "busy." We gather, we share, we nod—and then… nothing. I can't tell you the amount of clients who talk to me about shocking meetings. If the only thing people leave with is a full notebook and an empty sense of urgency, what was the point? Meetings should be catalysts, not comfort zones. They should challenge, provoke, and push people out of passive agreement and into active commitment. Otherwise, we’re not leading...we’re just hosting. Think differently about why this meeting is happening and what comes next...
be remarkable (in an interview)
And finally, an interview isn’t just a chance to prove you’re capable, it’s a chance to show you’re driven, you have initiative, you fit. Competence gets you noticed, but conviction gets you remembered. Don’t just answer questions, always bring energy, purpose, and a sense of what you’re ready to make happen. The goal isn’t to sound perfect, it’s to make them FEEL, “We need this person in the team—now.”
