be remarkable (presentations)

First up is the fear of standing up and delivering that presentation. Here are 3 super simple steps that can turn the fear into success:

Reframe the Fear: Instead of seeing nerves as a sign of weakness, recognise them as a dose of energy and excitement! It's telling you it's performance time! Tell yourself, “This matters, I’m ready and they're going to love it!”

Practice with Purpose: Don’t just rehearse your words, practice your pacing, tone, and presence. The more familiar your material feels, the more your confidence will grow and the more you will emotionally connect.

Focus on Service, Not Self: It's not about you, it's about your audience. Shift your mindset from “How do I look?” to “How can I help?” When you focus on delivering value to your audience, fear gives way to purpose.

be remarkable (meetings)

When faced with someone who tries to undermine you in a meeting, stay calm and refuse to match their energy. Confidence thrives in composure. Acknowledge their point briefly, then redirect the focus to the value and purpose behind your idea, not the conflict. Feel confident to ask a clarifying question. Add a response that challenges them to be constructive, not combative. Often they fail to substantiate their point. Most importantly, let your clarity, not your ego, do the talking. Real authority doesn’t shout, it stands its ground and all those around can see it for themselves.

be remarkable (in an interview)

"I wasn't able to shine in the interview because I wasn't asked the right questions." Sound familiar? Fear not! When the questions in an interview don’t lead to your key messages, it’s your job to bridge the gap. Listen closely, then find natural openings to take it in the direction YOU want. Link their question to something you genuinely want to highlight. Use phrases like, “That’s a great point, and it reminds me…” or “What’s also important here is…” And do it naturally - don't make a thing of it. It's all about you steering the conversation with subtle authority. Don’t wait for the perfect question, it may never come - instead create the perfect moment.
